Do you like boxes? I like boxes. I like putting away little treasures in boxes so they may become gifts in the futures that I find them. I like gifts that come in boxes. But I can't make a gift of my life. I cannot put it in a box and put a label on it. I don't want cards or ribbons, I don't want descriptors or embellishments. I want my life the way it is, unboxed and in the open.
But, perhaps life is Joseph Cornell’s magnum-opus.
